Most (professional) websites provide RSS feeds for various facets of their services. Facebook offers an RSS feed for each of their user's timeline. Tumblr, Blogger, and WordPress.com offers an RSS feed for user generated blogs, and so on.
But some websites and Web-based services just don't, even if it would be really helpful to have one.
For this latter category, RSS-Bridge is a PHP application you can host on your own server and generate syndication feeds for those services, and then add them to your own RSS reader for easily keeping track of their data.
RSS-Bridge currently includes adapters (bridges) for the following websites:
Bandcamp
Cryptome
DansTonChat
DuckDuckGo
Flickr (via FlickrExplore)
Google Search
Identi.ca
Instagram
OpenClassrooms
Pinterest
ScmbBridge
Twitter
Wikipedia (English, French, Esperanto)
YouTube
These bridges are coded into the RSS-Bridge interface. There are additional RSS bridges in the "/bridges" folder (over 50 more).
Once you have decided which adapter to use, RSS-Bridge can generate the feeds in: HTML, plain text, JSON, and Atom format.
